Professional teleprompter VSS-21ProC is built using the traditional designed and intended for use on Camera Crane.
Works with any types and sizes of the video cameras.
Uses a special mirror (Broadcast Quality Ultra clear Beamsplitter) with the main, semi-transparent layer of amalgam with 70/30 transparency / reflectance ratio and with and additional anti-reflection (AR) coating, minimizing unwanted reflections from inner side of the mirror to prevent ghosting effect.
At the core of this design of teleprompter is a Base plate - a metal platform, which consist of polished fiber carbon tubes, 3 movable mounting plates and mounting hardware for the front part of the teleprompter hood with a mirror and a monitor. The upper mounting plate is designed for mounting a camera/camcorder. The lower plate provides mount to a pedestal or a tripod. The back adjustable plate is designated for the set of counterweights as a balancing system.
The base plate provides free horizontal movement of the mounting plates, fixing them in the desired position, and provides vertical up / down movement of the tubes with the hood, mirror and the monitor, relatively to a fixed base plate for the camera with adjustable position, which allows the use of any size of the camera.
