8 channel HD/SD SDI over Fiber Extender
Extender is used to connect two distant TV studios (up to 20 km) or studio with the transmission center, where it is necessary to have 8 independent channels of communication .The TRANSMITTER converts up to four channels of serial digital signals on BNC connectors to light pulses that are transmitted over a single fiber optical cable(Single mode). The RECEIVER converts the pulses back into four HD-SDI ,SD-SDI signals. Transceiving of SDI signals via fiber is performed in 1470-1610 nm optical window. DFB lasers are used . Multiplexing of channels are optical. All embedded in SDI data (audio signals, data, etc.) are save.
Max. Data Rate Up to 1,5Gbps for each SDI input.
SDI Outputs 8 channels on BNC connectors.
Cable one single mode fiber optic cable with SC connectors.
